KAMPALA, UGANDA - Ecobank Uganda has entered a partnership with National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NSWC) which saw them launch the on-line water billing service in the country last week.



The service which was invented by the bank to do away with the constant queues at the NWSC offices by customers trying to pay their bills in time to beat their disconnection deadlines is the first of its kind in the water billing system.



In the past, other banks from where NWSC bills have been paid, would only take back reports and receipts to NWSC monthly to confirm payments or the customer would have to provide their payment receipt to avoid being disconnected.
