The living room is often the room in which people judge our design tastes.
A good interior designer should be aware of the clients' needs and money will come flying. According to Christine Namanda an interior designer with Nina Interiors in Kampala, interior designing is an art. And there are two things that are key to a good interior designer which are; simplicity, a creative mind and an eye for beauty. M/s Namanda adds that knowing the clients personality is vital in the business. This aids in choice of colours.

Offices, like houses, speak volumes about the occupants. Some offices are more welcoming than others. There is a clear difference between an interrogation room and the lounge of a hotel. Reason: the décor is different; each meant to create the necessary atmosphere.

You do not need to have a large bank account to have a beautiful office/house, what you need is a good interior designer and your bits and pieces will bring shine to your otherwise dull room.

A modest living room can be transformed by inexpensive paint effects and the right choice of colour.
Everyone who loves beautiful things would gladly welcome the idea of having to wake up to their dream home or even walk into a house office and car that screams 'you are welcome!'

Therefore as a good interior designer you would need to let the customers appreciate your role as a specialist in choosing their décor. People always have ideals but don't know how to put it together.

In the past only the super rich would think of employing an interior designer, but today because of the exposure and mobility, People have taken to seeking specialized advice. However as an interior specialist you need to publicise you creativity because someone does not know about you. You should be well informed and exposed as well as a good listener.

Keep in mind that you client needs to appreciate the value of interior designing which is revealing one's personality, appreciating beauty which adds spice to life, and also takes away stress and builds confidence in the client.
