Regional real estate firms eye November gala

KAMPALA, Rwanda - Dealers in real estate are set to be recognized for their innovation and services at an awards gala to held in November this year.

The East Africa Property Awards will involve pioneers and leaders in real estate. Nominations for the 2014 awards is now open. There will also be an opportunity for companies to showcase their portofolio.

A statement released by the organizers last week quoting a report for first quarter of 2014 from property managers Knight Frank Kenya, revealed that a significant supply of modern rental space have recorded a positive increase of approximately 10%.

“The East African real estate industry is curving a niche as the destination for world class developments and this event seeks to rubberstamp that assertion while rewarding and celebrating the contributions of both companies and individuals from the variousfacets of the industry,” Rita Oyier, Managing Director at East Africa Property said.
