The much-anticipated Comedy Club: Live in Kampala is here and set to air on M-Net East on DStv every  Monday at 9pm until March 26th 2012.
The popular show has previously been filmed in Lagos and Mombasa and is now set to showcase world-class talent in Uganda. Comedy Club: Live in Kampala is an M-Net Africa production that profiles comedians, and offers them a wider television platform to demonstrate their talent as stand-up comedians.
Comedy Club: Live in Kampala invited comedians to Kampala from Uganda, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya and Rwanda to come show their skill throughout the 13 episodes of the series. The show, hosted by popular Ugandan talent Gaetano Kagwa of Big Brother fame, provides an hour of entertainment for the live venue audience as well as the viewer at home. After the comedians perform, they're invited to sit down for an interview with Gaetano. DStv audiences can also look forward to a live band performance by Magic Hornz to entertain the audience.
Two comedians will perform during each episode - the first is usually an up-and-coming comedian while the other is a well-known, established comedian.
